Supervision is crucial to the growth and education of an LPC-Associate. For a minimum of 18 months, LPC-Associates work under the supervision of a board approved LPC Supervisor while earning a minimum of 3000 hours of experience.

3,000 hours is a long time. So choosing your supervisor is very important. They are not just there to sign off on your hours, but to serve as a consultant, coach, and cheerleader on your way to becoming fully licensed. You’ll want someone who is passionate about guiding others. Someone who will both support and challenge you as you grow.

I have experience in crisis intervention, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and addressing dual diagnosis, substance abuse, trauma and involvement in sex trafficking.

Our supervision meetings will be fun, exciting & thought-provoking with instruction & experiential activities & exercises. My background is in Psychodynamic and Humanistic therapies and Culturally Competent Counseling. Nevertheless, I will incorporate other theoretical approaches.
